Tagataese was slated to challenge for the Aotearoa Heavyweight Championship at Studio Fight Club last year, but an injury stopped him from competing for the gold.
Jamie has earned his championship opportunity once more by becoming the number one contender in front of a sold-out crowd in Pakuranga this July, now he intends to win the championship on the big stage at the Peter Rea Auditorium on the North Shore!
